Datapharm is a leading source of trusted, credible information about medicines. We are a not for profit company providing a range of medicines information services for healthcare professionals, medicine users, carers, the general public and the pharmaceutical industry.
Our mission
Our mission is to improve public health and safety by providing up to date, accurate and comprehensive information about medicines to healthcare professionals, medicine users, carers and the general public.
Our members
We have approximately 200 pharmaceutical company members, including companies manufacturing branded, generic and consumer medicines.
These members provide their information for us to publish on the internet and through other channels.
Our partners
We work closely with a wide range of healthcare organisations to provide good quality information about medicines. These include the NHS, the Department of Health, the pharmaceutical industry regulator – the Medicines and Healthcare Products Regulatory Agency (MHRA), the pharmaceutical industry and professional and voluntary health organisations.
How we're funded
We are a not for profit company funded by about 200 UK pharmaceutical companies. These companies subscribe to our services and pay us to publish their information on our websites.

Our history
Datapharm was established in 1977 and is an independent, not for profit company.
We are a company limited by guarantee, registered in England & Wales - registered number 1317421.
